- Plan and implement age-appropriate learning experiences using our play-based curriculum.
- Foster children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Observe and document children’s progress.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Communicate daily with families through conversations and classroom communication tools.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom and ensure compliance with licensing and health & safety standards.
- Collaborate with school leadership and fellow teachers to provide the highest quality educational experience.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
- Child Development Associate (CDA) credential preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience working with preschool-aged children preferred.
- Completion of state-required pre-service training.
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a professional and positive manner.
- Must meet all state licensing and background check requirements.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary to ensure child safety and assist with classroom activities.
